StreamFader is a free tool that blends critic scores (Rotten Tomatoes, Metacritic) with audience ratings (IMDb) using a DJ-style crossfader. Slide left for what critics love, slide right for what audiences love, or find the sweet spot where both agree.

Critics evaluate film craft — cinematography, pacing, originality, and narrative structure. Audiences vote with their gut — entertainment value, emotional payoff, rewatchability. Neither is wrong. StreamFader lets you weight both based on what you actually care about tonight.

The SF Score is a weighted blend: score = critic × (1 − fader) + audience × fader. At 0% you're ranking by pure critic consensus. At 100% you're ranking by pure audience vote. At 50% both have equal weight. Scores are normalized to 100.

We pull from TMDb (The Movie Database) for catalog data, OMDb for Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic scores, and IMDb ratings. Data refreshes every 6 hours so you're always seeing current scores.

Seen it removes the title from your feed and signals that you liked similar content. No thanks removes it and reduces similar content. Both wear off after 30 days. The more you use it, the better your feed gets tuned to your taste.
